Who Needs an SST Card?
All workers at job sites that are required to designate a Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Coordinator or Site Safety Manager.
All supervisors at these job sites must also be trained. This includes Site Safety Managers, Site Safety Coordinators, Concrete Safety Managers, Construction Superintendents and competent persons

Why Do You Need an SST Card?
As a requirement of Local Law 196 of 2017, workers at job sites requiring a Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Coordinator or Site Safety Manager must have a total of 30 hours of safety training by December 1, 2019 and a total of 40 hours by September 2020. Supervisors must have 62 hours of training by December 1, 2019.
